Officially listed as April 14-16th, but actually celebrated to some degree for the entire month. Families are expected to make numerous sacrifices at as many temples as possible. It is a time of fun games and family visits, but also of a lot of idolatry, drunkeness, gambling, with high numbers of freak accidents and traffic deaths.
