Pastoral Care
It is the desire of In His Steps to see the Church, the bride of Christ, flourishing around the world. Many pastors outside of the United States have little or no formal training but are facing incredibly unique and challenging circumstances as they pastor in countries that are frequently anti-Christian in their beliefs. Even within the United States, we often find pastors hungry for the truth and power of the Holy Spirit. In general, this is one of the greatest needs we see in the church today.
For this reason, we count it a privilege and a responsibility to use what we have been given to strengthen and teach others. In Cambodia, we find many opportunities to minister to other foreigners and also take time to disciple a select group of Cambodian pastors.
We frequently are asked to provide pastoral care in the following ways:
- Training seminars for pastors and leaders here in Cambodia through World Vision, Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia, and World Hope
- Teaching in discipleship schools like YWAM (Youth With A Mission) both here in Cambodia and in the Philippines
- Ministering to leaders, elders and pastors worldwide including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and the United States
In His Steps International is just that -- a ministry focused on helping people walk in step with God, no matter the nation, culture, or language. While we are currently working in Cambodia, our heart and vision is global. By pouring our lives out through the power of the Holy Spirit into others, we have seen ministries become more effective and the body of Christ grow and flourish.
